I carried out a lot of painting exercises while located out in Værløse, where I shared a large studio space happily with Julia Karla. Moving through the motions, all of the paintings during this period were made mostly using acrylic painting; there was a lot of getting colours correct and working out precisely how to manage slightly larger scale paintings.
