Almost ritualistic in its approach this project I designed as a means to crack open new lines by way of searching for inspiration by colliding elements of my previous work: variety of drawings, paintings, collages and sketchbooks collected and created while traveling and in different studio environments. Behind me was a blue wall, and beneath were materials that also had their origins in different corners of the planet. During the 12-hour period, I diligently worked through experiments, uncovering new methodologies that I continue to use until this day. The Inventory 2.0 is imminent.
