What is it that drives a short story? What are the relevance of short stories now [in 2025]? What can be told in a short story? We will go at this class in 2 parts - the first half learning about the short story and what it is, discussing about what it has been and can/could be; take a look at some of the elements of the best short stories ever told; and touch on stories by authors such as Osama Alomar, George Saunders and Ottessa Moshfegh - to mention but a few. During the second hour we will become the alchemists; creatively excavating the subconscious, our own pasts and imaginations to form our own short stories with content, concepts and characters. 01.10.25 at Oblong Gallery Maglekildevej 18, kld tv, 1853 Frederiksberg.
